Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound of ground beef or ground turkey depending on your taste preference.
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs (available at most stores)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese This ingredient is optional but enhances the flavor significantly.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
  • Use olive oil or a light coating of cooking spray to prepare your baking sheet.

Instructions
 

1. Preheat the Oven

  • Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it with cooking spray.

2. Prepare the Meatball Mixture

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, gluten-free breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and parsley.

3. Shape the Meatballs

  • Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring there’s some space between each meatball.

4. Bake the Meatballs

  • Place the meatballs in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • For a slightly crispy exterior, broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of the baking time.

5.Serve and Enjoy

  • Allow the meatballs to cool slightly before serving.
  • Pair them with gluten-free pasta and marinara sauce, or enjoy them in a sandwich.
